Organic Traffic

The term “organic traffic” refers to the visitors who land on your website through search results. When a user types a search query in a search engine such as Google, Bing, or Baidu, they get a set of results of pages ranking in the top positions organically.

There are two ways of getting traffic from search engines:

  • Paid ads - Placing your ads on top of the organic results
  • Organic traffic - Ranking your website high in the search results using search engine optimization (SEO)

Why is organic traffic important for your business?

Organic traffic is by far the most important form of traffic you can get for your website mainly because it drives targeted users having a very specific intent towards your website, and if you can provide them with a solution to their problem, they are most likely to convert.

A higher volume of targeted organic traffic can result in a substantial increase in the number of orders and revenue for your eCommerce store.
