Got stuck in security and never reached. It's a music box. Going out of the country. What's the thought process here?

first of all my package took almost 3 weeks to get to me & then when if finally got here it was placed in the wrong mailbox. Thank god i have good neighbors & it was brought to me or if definitely be really really irritated . Left in wrong spot.
