If no one was home to accept the parcel was to be taken to the post office. However if delivering the item didn't require my notification, the parcel was clearly "left unattended". THAT IS WRONG! I was at home, but no one buzzed my unit. Let's hope the parcel was small enough to be shoved into my letterbox, despite not giving permission for this, due to its risk. I haven't looked for my parcel yet, because of lack of time. I hope it's actually there. Unprofessional. Poor communication. Left in wrong spot.
