AfterShip Ltd ("AfterShip", "we", "us", "our") and any and all parent, subsidiary or associate company of AfterShip (collectively "AfterShip Group") recognize the importance of privacy. AfterShip will manage your Personal Data collected through the websites located at www.aftership.com, the mobile applications, the API related services and the affiliated websites owned by AfterShip Group (collectively "Website") based on AfterShip belief of respect for the individual and in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

BY USING THE WEBSITE IN ANY WAY, INCLUDING NAMELY BROWSING, PURCHASING AND USING ANY OF THE SERVICES PROVIDED THROUGH THE WEBSITE, YOU AGREE TO THE AFTERSHIP PRIVACY POLICY ("Privacy Policy"). We collect Personal Data to provide the services you request, to improve the User's interaction with AfterShip, and to communicate with you about shipping information, services, promotions and contests. We try to limit the collected information to support the intended purpose of collection. If you cannot be identified by the data we collect, for example when personal data has been anonymized, then this data is not considered Personal Data by this Privacy Policy.

We collect Personal Data when you:

  • Make an online purchase from AfterShip;

The Personal Data we collect may include authentication information (including namely but not exclusively username and encrypted access credentials) of your email accounts, social networking accounts or any other accounts from any third party application or website that you link to your Account, transaction information such as product name and price, contact and payment information, Your name and/or company name, address, phone number, email address and shipping information.

When you ask us to provide services for the benefit of a third party, you shall be legally authorized by said third party to disclose his/her Personal Data to AfterShip. This authorization shall cover Personal Data including but not limited to the name, address, phone number, email address, credit card and shipping information of the third party.

AfterShip processes Personal Data for the following purposes and based on the following legal grounds:

For the performance of AfterShip services: Tracking, Postmen, Returns Center. This element covers all technical and commercial processes required to carry-out user requestsProcessing is necessary to perform a contract with the User, or in order to conclude one

The Personal Data requested with regard to the creation and use of a user account is necessary for the performance of AfterShip Services and to fulfill your requests. Further Personal Data you provide through linking different user accounts, is done so on a voluntary basis or to meet a request you've formulated.

The Personal Data will be stored for as long as you have an active account and continue to use AfterShip Services, and for a period of 5 years thereafter, or for the period of the statute of limitation to the extent the Personal Data may have legal effects.

AfterShip will usually remove your Personal Data generated and/or provided by You within 90-120 days after the data has been generated or provided.

Additionally, Personal Data you provide in connection with the AfterShip Services is anonymized and used by AfterShip for data analysis, for example to evaluate the performance of shipping carriers.

6. How to Unsubscribe to Direct Marketing

We want to communicate with you in the ways that you want to hear from us. If you no longer want to receive marketing messages from us, you can click on the appropriate link at the bottom of our marketing emails. Please allow sufficient time for your preferences to be processed.

AfterShip accounts require a username and password to log in. You must keep your username and password secure, and never disclose it to a third party. Because the information in your Distribution Lists is so sensitive, account passwords are encrypted, which means we can't see your passwords. We can't resend forgotten passwords either. We'll only reset them.

Your account information is protected by the password you use to access your online account. Please keep this password confidential.

We are committed to protecting children's online privacy. In order to protect the privacy of children, AfterShip does not knowingly collect Personal Data from children under the age of 18 without prior parental consent.
